A Licence for Alter is generally required where commercial tenants and residential Leaseholders plan to carry out alterations works. Our typical involvement consists of the following when acting as the freeholders surveyor:

• Review of the lease and the leaseholders proposals
• Provide comment on the document
• Consider statute
• Issue a report to the freeholder
• Monitor the works
• Review completion documentation and sign off the works

We can act as the Freeholders surveyor or ensure compliance on behalf of the leaseholder/tenant.
